While you are shopping for a set of Rocker Panel Protectors for your Jeep, make sure that you are asking the right questions:

2) "How do they stand up to abuse when I drop my Jeep down off a ledge?"

Our answer to that question is VERY well !!  You can break anything if you try hard enough, and though I have seen a few Heavy Duty ZJ models bend a few degrees upward, due to the design to keep from clearancing the pinch seam, the Extreme Duty ZJ and Extreme Duty WJ design is much more stout, and I have never heard of one bending on a WJ as of yet.  That's a pretty big claim, but also very true.

Here is a view from the side.  You can see from this angle that the added protection doesn't affect your overall ground clearance...you see the cross member and the muffler in the picture.  I painted this one for purposes of contrast in the photos.  You can also see from this angle the distance from the tires.  If you decide to go up to 33" tires, they will still fit without any modifications necessary.
