CHEROKEE XJ: '84 => '01

This shot shows the width of the Extreme Duty Rock Sliderz.  The white Grand Cherokee on the first page (ZJDreams) met a large rock face on the Mud Springs Trail that he actually scraped his rear door handle.  If he had these Sliderz, they would have actually pushed him away from the rock face, saving EXPENSIVE body damage.  From the pinch weld underneath, these stick out 6" to offer protection to the tires and body panels on the XJ.  About 4" sticks out from the body, which is just enough for a step to access your roof rack, or just to wash the roof, if you are the type to actually wash your Jeep.  Don't laugh...some people are very superstitious about leaving the dirt where it was.  Don't want to mess up your mojo, after all!

You can also tell from the photo how you can use them to "pivot" around obstacles. Simply steer right into an obstacle (rock, tree, etc.) and it will bring the rear end right around for you.  It's a great maneuver!
